Kids grow a lot, we all know that.

...so why don't their prostheses grow with them?

That's a question we asked ourselves when we first started designing 3D-printed prosthetics. Our solution is the ExpHand, adjustable in length and width so your prosthetic is always the right size.

The ExpHand is a 3D printed prosthetic arm for children that is:

Affordable

ExpHand is our business, but as people we're definitely more about helping others. That's why we work hard to ensure that nobody who could benefit from one of our prosthetics is ever priced out of doing so.

Customisable

With a range of customisable options, children and young people can make this innovative product their own and let their personality shine through, all without sacrificing any of the functionality or adaptability they need.

Confidence Boosting

The impact that the right prosthesis can have on a young life can be immense - both from a practical standpoint and an emotional one.

How does it work?

The short answer is 'really, really well', but since a picture is worth a thousand words, we've put together this short video showing off our design and how it can be adjusted to ensure a great fit for the wearer, as well as it's more functional capabilities, and some of the customisation options available too.

Watch the video below to take a look.

What else can it do?

Our prosthetics can be made in lots of fun colour combinations, so they become an extension of your child's personality, not just a medical device. Most prosthetics that you'll find on the market today are expensive, but they don't need to be. We manufacture all our prosthetics in-house, so we can provide you with high-quality products that don't break the bank.

The ExpHand can be assembled and fitted at home without needing to see a doctor or a prosthetist. Simply set the length and adjust the straps then you're ready to go; it's that simple! Because you can adjust our prosthetic, that means it needs replacing less often, and less financial cost for Mums & Dads. Even better, the ExpHand is suitable for children from the age of 3 years old with below-elbow limb reduction, and each prosthetic is designed and built to grow with you.
